Citizen Advice Offices extend services provided by prior appointment
The city’s Citizen Advice Offices (OAC) today extended services provided by prior appointment. The measure is a way of saving time on processing the most common municipal procedures and paperwork.
In order to improve service in the offices the decision has been taken to extend the appointment system to all services, saving citizens’ time queuing and even, if an incident should arise, sending a prior alert to change the appointment.
Procedures which are by prior appointment only are those relating to municipal tax affairs, urban planning, works and related activities, mobile ID and digital certificates, pets, the Park Güell entry card and registering for the Gaudir+BCN scheme.
Services which are offered with prior appointments, although not obligatory, are those relating to the electoral roll, the Targeta Rosa, reporting of the infringement of municipal by-laws and the presentation of applications.
Where to ask for an appointment?
Appointments can be made via the virtual office, via information points for procedures and services (Punt-BCN), the 010 telephone service or via the MobileID app. Citizens can also find the address of offices, the locations of information points and the conditions of use for the 010 service at ajuntament.barcelona.cat/atenciociutadana.
