The race starts in Av. Reina Maria Cristina at 8.30 am. The first runner is expected back in the same avenue around 10.40 am. Runners have a maximum of six hours to complete the event.

Disruptions to public transport

Two thirds of TMB buses which go through the city centre, some sixty services, will see their routes changed or limited between 8.30 am and 3 pm.

Tram services will also be affected:

Trambaix lines T1, T2, T3: From roughly 8.30 am to 9.30 am services will only operate as far as the Palau Reial stop.

Trambesòs line T4: From roughly 8.30 am to 1 pm the service will operate along two sections:

  • Between the Ciutadella / Vil·la Olímpica and Glòries stops.
  • Between the Estació Sant Adrià and El Maresme stops.

Because of this, people are advised to use the metro as their main means of getting around or to go on foot on Sunday morning near the streets where the run is taking place.

More information can be found on the service status section of the TMB website and on the marathon website.
