School sport.. Taking place on Tuesday 13 May is a conversation between Physical Education teachers who will analyse how school sport has evolved since the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992.

Barcelona continues its programme of activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Barcelona ‘92 Olympic Games. As part of this celebration, on Tuesday 13 June at 7:00 pm, a group of teachers specialising in Physical Education will get together to assess the evolution of school sport over the last 25 years.

They include Lluis Almirall, Physical Education teacher and member of COPLEFC; Carles González, teacher from the National Physical Education Institute of Catalonia (INEFC) (Barcelona centre), a doctor of Physical Education, specialist trainer of trainers of Physical Education; Marta Carranza, director of recycling courses for teachers that formed part of the ‘More sport than ever in school’ programme from 1986 to 1992 and Juli Pernas, director of the Barcelona Olympic Foundation, who is involved in the “Dimecres Olímpic” [Olympic Wednesday] and “Bus Olímpic” [Olympic Bus] programme.
