The BCN92 Olympic Games are more accessible than ever with an open day at the MOE.
1992 BCN Games.. The Olympic and Sports Museum is holding an open day as part of the celebrations and activities to mark the 25th anniversary of the Barcelona ‘92 Olympic Games
25 July marks exactly 25 years since the start of the Barcelona ‘92 Olympic Games. In fact, on 25 July, 25 years ago, Barcelona dazzled the world with a spectacular opening ceremony and uttered a resounding and enduring ‘HELLO’ to everyone. To commemorate this very important date in the city’s history, the Barcelona Olympic Foundation is organising an open day at the Olympic and Sports Museum(MOE), on Sunday 23 July.
The MOE holds a wealth of documents and objects relating to the history of sport in the city and, in particular, and of special importance, various objects from the Olympic Games that were held in the city. Everyone attending the open day will have the chance to view as many of the exhibits as they wish. However, the open day is only during the morning, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.
