The Palau d’Esports de Badalona and the Pavelló Club Joventut de Badalona hosted, respectively, the Olympic basketball and boxing competitions.
Secondary Venues '92
Fifteen secondary-venue towns and cities hosted events as part of the Barcelona 92 Olympic Games.
They hosted 9 official sports and 1 demonstration sport over the course of the competition. The official sports were basketball (Badalona), baseball (L’Hospitalet and Viladecans), boxing (Badalona), football (Sabadell, Zaragoza and Valencia), handball (Granollers), hockey (Terrassa), canoeing (Castelldefels and Seu d’Urgell), rowing (Banyoles) and Olympic shooting (Mollet del Vallès). The demonstration sport was ice hockey (Sant Sadurní d’anoia, Vic and Reus).

BADALONA

BANYOLES
The Estany de Banyoles, a natural lake, was the venue for the rowing competition. It was also home to the rowers’ Olympic Village.

CASTELLDEFELS
This town hosted the calm water canoeing competition.

GRANOLLERS
The Palau d’Esports de Granollers hosted the Olympic handball competition (with the exception of the final).

L’HOSPITALET
The Baseball Stadium was one of the two secondary venues for the baseball competition.

LA SEU D'URGELL
The Parc del Segre hosted the wildwater canoeing slalom.

MOLLET DEL VALLÈS
This is where the Olympic shooting event took place, specifically at the Olympic Shooting Range.

REUS
The town’s covered pavilion was the setting of the ice hockey matches.

SABADELL
The Nova Creu Alta Stadium was one of the five stadiums that hosted the football tournament.

SANT SADURNÍ D'ANOIA
This secondary venue had two roles: it hosted the individual cycling races and part of the roller hockey competition. These events were held at the Circuit de Ciclisme and the Pavelló de l’Ateneu, respectively.

TERRASSA
This is where the hockey tournament took place, in the in the Hockey Stadium.

VIC
This venue was also the setting of some of the roller hockey matches, at the Pavelló del Club Patí Vic. The town also had another competition venue, the Centre d’Hípica del Montanyà (Equestrian Centre), which hosted the dressage and endurance of the eventing competition.

VILADECANS
A renovated Baseball Stadium hosted part of the Olympic baseball tournament.

VALENCIA
The Luís Casanova football stadium also hosted part of the Olympic football tournament.

ZARAGOZA
The Romareda Stadium was the setting for part of the football tournament.
