"Government Measure #7: Culture and Digital Rights" of the Barcelona Cultural Rights Plan provides for the development of a Municipal Charter of Digital Rights. Its objective will be to delve into the relationship between culture, digital rights and democratic technologies and prescribe a set of citizen rights in their access and cultural participation in the digital sphere.
It is expected that the Charter addresses issues such as the digital gap, tools, platforms and training for digital training, the citizen's right to cultural creation, digital inclusion, accessibility, equal representation, management democratic and collective culture and public and community digital heritage, ethical business models, or copyright.
In this participatory and dynamic session, a first approach to the ideas-force that should be the starting point of the process of preparing the Municipal Charter of Digital Rights will be worked on, putting on the table the set of issues related to digital rights in the cultural field that will need to be reflected upon, debated and directed in the coming months.
