2021 saw the emergence of Cadiz native Álvaro Romero’s new project together with Portuguese artist Pedro da Linha, one of the founders of the Enchufada label. The project evolved into Yeli Yeli, a mixture of queer folklore with flamenco roots, electronic music and experimental reggaeton. It isn’t easy to use just one label to describe what these two musicians have brought to life, but it is clear that the public will witness a natural language of their own that has flowed since the first day they began to work together. A curious symbiosis where there is room for each of them to shine, depending on the piece played.
