This project co-designs with citizens a game to investigate genomic alterations in cancer cells. The Genigma game is intended as a tool through which citizens can collaborate with the research. With mobile phones, any citizen will be able to analyse small fragments of the DNA of these cells and collaborate in the construction of the reference genome map. The map will make it possible to understand which parts of the genome of these cells play a fundamental role in the establishment and development of cancer and will be very useful for designing more personalized and effective treatments against cancer.
