The Science Festival moves to Moll de la Fusta
25 October 2019
The change of location entails some changes in the program.
Given the particular circumstances of the city during the recent days, the Institute of Culture of Barcelona has decided to move the location of the 13th Science Festival. The great citizen date with science and technology, that will be held on October 26 and 27, has moved from the Ciutadella Park to the neighbouring Moll de la Fusta.
The change of location will entail some changes in the initially planned program. Specifically, activities related to the spaces of the Ciutadella, the itineraries through the park and those that had to be done at the Zoo have been cancelled.
Powered by Barcelona Ciència, the thirteenth edition of the Science Festival brings together more than a hundred activities organized by research centres, universities, associations, equipments and other entities. For two days, citizens can explore all areas of research and meet their protagonists.
In this edition, the commitment to digital contents will be reinforced, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of the event, generating less waste. In addition, as in previous editions, the Festival will have an information point and support staff to attend all the questions of people joining the event.
