Edward, an aspiring actor with no professional or romantic success, undergoes an operation to change his appearance. The new Edward is, at first glance, a successful man, but the reunion with an old crush and the appearance of a mysterious stranger begin to crack that facade. Sebastian Stan won the Best Actor award in Berlin for this original satire about identity and normality, with echoes of Charlie Kaufman's work.
