Agathe, hopelessly clumsy but charming and full of contradictions, finds herself desperately single. Her dream is to experience a love worthy of a Jane Austen novel, and her greatest aspiration is to become a writer. Instead, she spends her days selling books at the legendary British bookstore Shakespeare & Co. in Paris. When she is invited to the Jane Austen Writers' Residency in England, Agathe must confront her insecurities to fulfill her dream of becoming a novelist and find herself caught in a chaotic love triangle that will force her to rethink her love life.
