A loyal police dog and his human officer are badly injured in the line of duty, and can only be saved by a madcap operation in which the two merge into one, becoming Cop-Can. The new officer swears to protect and serve, but he also knows how to fetch, sit and paw. Cop-Can embraces his new identity and works hard to please his boss (Lil Rel Howery, Get Out, Free Guy). Now he must stop the evil intentions of feline supervillain Petey the Cat (Pete Davidson, King of the Block, “Saturday Night Live”). Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself to create the kitty Lil Petey (Little Petey) and have twice as many opportunities to commit misdeeds. But things get complicated when Lil Petey and Cop-Can unexpectedly become friends.
