Being of the Mediterranean is much more than a slogan: it means being the heirs of the sea, embracing its calm and being committed to its protection. A way of understanding, of caring for the world and culture, a thread that bonds us, a voice that cradles us. Like the sea that surrounds us, music defines the nature of those who are reflected in it and inspired by it, those who dream without borders. This year’s BAM will fill the streets and squares of Barcelona to make more than music be heard: new proposals from emerging and established artists that resonate, filled with light, talent, welcome and demands.
