Fabra Observatory

Wednesday, 25 July 2018

The Fabra Observatory is one of world’s oldest working observatories. Its long history has given uninterrupted and systematic analysis of the local climate, the seismic activity in the region and astronomy. The visits run by the Fabra Observatory are an unforgettable experience, as they include direct observations of the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars depending on the time of year, different stars and it even offers the possibility of dining under the stars. Observations have been carried out in the same way for a century, in other words, with the giant refracting telescope that dates from 1904. More information. See transcription.
