Museum of Ethnology and World Cultures

In 2017 we saw the completion of the merger between the Museum of World Cultures and the Barcelona Ethnological Museum, which became the Museum of Ethnology and World Cultures.
Although the museum’s main mission continues to be the preservation and dissemination of the cultural heritage, the aim in this new stage is to transcend the traditional idea of a museum, exhibit the collection and invite people and groups to take part in it so that it becomes a benchmark for social museology.  More information.
