9th edition of Art Nou: young art invades the galleries

Barcelona and L'Hospitalet will host a total of 13 exhibitions on the 25th of June

The 9th edition of Art Nou starts on June 25th, with exhibitions, parallel activities, workshops and guided tours, which will turn Barcelona and L'Hospitalet into the epicentre of young art. This is an initiative that aims to highlight the emerging figures in the art world and offer collaboration frameworks between young artists and galleries.

From next Thursday you can visit 13 exhibitions in different spaces:

In Barcelona, “Palpitar, palpar” by Laura Llaneli at ADN Galería, “To talk about trees” by Sara Agudo Millán at Chiquita Room, “La teoría definitiva” by Albert Gironès at Homesession, , “Hay una historia de una mujer que” by Irene Solà at Àngels Barcelona, “El retorn a Ripollet” by Marcel Rubio Juliana in Joan Prats Warehouse, “Una luz cegadora”  by Anna Irina Russell in Bombon Projects, “Cobijos” by Emma Llorente Palacio in Galeria H2O, “Lo necesario” by Lluc Baños in Víctor Lope Arte Contemporáneo and “Como Dios manda” by Gema Polanco in Alalimón Galería.

And, in L'Hospitalet, “Cows Twombly” by Oscar Holloway in Ana Mas Projects “Avui soc ric” by Rafa Castells in NoguerasBlanchard, “Dudas y montañas” by Carla Souto in Tangent Projects and “Roaming” by Arnau Sala, Genís de Diego, Jan Monclús, Juan Serlo, Katharina Hetzeneder, Marina R. Colás and Zigor Azkargorta in 17m2.

The activities and workshops will be inaugured, on June 25 at the Centre Cívic Can Felipa, by Cristina Spinelli with “Escriure com un jardí”.
