“Back to the Future” marathon in the Palau de Congressos

Phenomena Experience celebrates its third anniversary with the screening of the three films in the saga on the 11th of January

Phenomena Experience was born on the 16th of December, 2010. The initiative was created by film director Nacho Cerdà with the aim of rediscovering some of the more emblematic films of the 70s, 80s and 90s as well as other cinema classics. This recognition of cinematic screening as an experience in its own right has led, in recent years, to a revisiting of films such as Jaws, Scarface, Gremlins, Alien, E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, Grease and Taxi Driver.

In celebration of its third anniversary, on Saturday the 11th of January at 8 pm in the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, Phenomena Experience will be showing the complete Back to the Future trilogy, a selection based on popular votes made via social networks.

The result, then, is another opportunity to see Marty McFly and Doc (Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd) in the film saga directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by, among others, Steven Spielberg. In the first film, released in 1985, the protagonist journeys into the past in order to ensure that his parents marry. In the second film, which saw its debut four years later, McFly journeys forward to 2015 to solve a problem involving one of his sons and the forces of law and order. The final film in the trilogy takes place in the era of the American Wild West.
