Barcelona Creatathon
Responsible cooking, R+D scientific research, circular economy or the need to stop food waste are some of the lines which the Creator Space Tour will be focused on its way through Barcelona, in an edition dedicated to responsible food consumption.
What happens if we bring 36 talented people together in one place for 24 hours? It promises to be a day full of non-stop creativity, innovation and creation. This is what will happen on 28 and 29 October in the Creator Space BCN Creatathon, a multidisciplinary event organized on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of BASF in order to find disruptive solutions to the "innovations for responsible food consumption" goal.
The participants will work in groups of three. Once the 24 hours are up, each team –consisting of one business, one artistic and one engineering/programming profile– will have to present their solution on October 29. To be in with a chance of winning one of the €4,000 or €2,000 prizes, they must convince the panel of acclaimed experts. They won't be left to their own devices; there will be master classes, mentors and various special guests on hand to help them make rapid progress and present a workable solution.
