Barcelona Gallery Weekend, September 17 to 20

A weekend full of art

The Barcelona Gallery Weekend is back with exhibitions, guided tours and many other activities for art lovers.

The Barcelona Gallery Weekend (BGW) arrives full of activities both for the general public and professionals. From the 17th to the 20th of September, several art galleries in the city get ready to exhibit with more than forty artists chosen for this edition, such as Virginia Rota in Alalimón, Anna Dot in Bombon Projects, Toni Catany in the Sala Parés, Lluís Barba in the Galeria Contrast and Peter Halley at the Galeria SENDA. Some galleries will offer virtual activities to delve into the themes of the exhibitions. Guided tours will also take place in some spaces, as is the case of Chiquita Room, Pigment Gallery, Artur Ramon Art or Galeria H2O.

The BGW will open on September 17th at 7.30 p.m. in all the participant galleries. As a novelty, this edition offers the Family galleries route, an itinerary through some of the galleries participating in the event, coordinated by Alexandra Laudo Police Station. The activity program also includes workshops for children, concerts such as Luis Torroja or Marcel Homar, presentations, performances and much more.

In the BGW schedule you will find all the events and information pertinent to each one of them –day, time, place and registration method. The activities are subject to the schedules and restrictions of each of the participating places.
