“Boig per tu”, Sau' musical

Any fan of Sau will surely claim that the sudden void left by the premature demise of Carles Sabater could not be easily filled. Years after the band ceased to perform, however, any remembrance is valid, and more so if, as is the case here, the remembrance promises an enjoyable evening. The event we are referring to here is Boig per tu (Crazy about you), Sau's musical that will be showing from the 4th to the 31st of December in the BARTS.

The twenty-five songs by the band from Osona that are included in the performance are connected by a plot line especially created for the occasion. A group of young students who have just finished their academic studies face a summer full of experiences, most of them sentimental in origin. Beginning with a birthday celebration, and by means of songs and musical numbers, our group of friends approach the subjects closest to their hearts, namely, friendship, romantic entanglements, uncertainty about the future, their studies, etc.

The show, which had notable success on its first representation on the 12th of October in the Vic, was written by Joan Gallart with artistic direction by Ricard Reguant and musical direction by Pep Sala.
