The dining room at Casa Museu Ametller, part of the heritage of Casas Singulares

Details of the Casas Singulares of Barcelona

The staff of this initiative continues to explain the corners and secrets of emblematic buildings such as the Casa Ametller or the Casa Felip.

Casas Singulares is a project by Laura Pastor Durán and Isabel Vallès Audouard that brings heritage closer to citizens, making guided visits and various activities - such as concerts or conferences - to emblematic buildings in the city, to allow people to get to know them better. Due to the current situation, they have had to reinvent their method, always with the hope of being able to resume the activity soon.

As always, you will find highly documented historical records on the houses that are part of the heritage of Casas Singulares: the Casa Museu Ametller, the Casa Batlló, the Biblioteca Pública Arús, the Casa Rocamora, the Casa Felip and the Palauet Casades are some of them. In addition, these days, the project guides are sharing images of details of these houses, curious anecdotes or historical clipping about the architects, the decoration or any relevant element.

On their social media accounts you will be able to find a good number of photographs accompanied by text and, on some occasions, the members themselves will be the ones explaining the matter in question on a video. You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so you don't miss a single post.
