The CCCB opens its viewing area

The new viewing area can be visited the first Sunday of every month

The “loftiest” (in the strictest sense of the word) of the 20 actions organised by the CCCB in commemoration of its 20-year history is the possibility of visiting the "Mirador", the new viewing area, on the first Sunday of every month. The building’s crystal facade provides views of the city from a vantage point which, while not by any means the highest in the city, is unique for its location in the middle of the Raval district.

Views include the rooftops of the Ciutat Vella district, the sea in the background, Montjuïc to the side and, from the back of the building, the upper part of the city stretching towards Tibidabo. In addition to its charm as a vantage point, the diaphanous nature of the space makes it an ideal location to host special events such as receptions, presentations or conferences.

Entry is free on the first Sunday of every month from 11am to 8 pm up until the end of the year.
