Cartell 1r aniversari del Centre LGTBI de Barcelona

First anniversary of the Centre LGTBI

Activities and workshops for all audiences and a day of celebration and political statements on Carrer Compte Borrell.

For one year now, Barcelona has had the pioneering services offered by the Centre LGBTI, a centre for shelter, promotion and action for the LGBTI community (Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual and Intersex) and for all other residents. In this celebration, their offices on Carrer Compte Borrell 22 will be filled up with festivities including music, workshops, exhibitions and activities for the whole family, all headed up by Brigitta Lamoure, known for their original humour and irony. Almost all day long you’ll have the chance to see all kinds of shows, such as concerts by Putochinomaricón and ¥€$Si Perse, artistic interventions by David Macho, with a huge canvas for a political painting, an installation by Clara Aguilar and Nora Haddad that shows that it is possible to live between the cracks of an oppressive system, or a huge participative mural where you can leave your mark.

These are just part of the many things on offer at the Centre LGTBI, on Carrer Compte Borrell 22, on Saturday 18 January starting from 11 am to 10 pm. All the activities here aimed at turning this space into a point for meeting, reflecting, and raising awareness about sexual and gender diversity.

You can find more information about the day on the Centre LGTBI website, where you can download the activities programme. You can do it directly on this link.
