Debut concert by the group The Magpie Salute in Barcelona
The band includes members of The Black Crowes.
On Tuesday 13 November, the walls of Sala Razzmatazz will be ringing to the sound of drums and electric guitars. On the stage will be The Magpie Salute, a group that may not sound familiar to many, but at least one member of which will almost certainly ring a bell with rock fans: Rich Robinson of the iconic band The Black Crowes. In his new group, Robinson is accompanied by guitarist Marc Ford and bassist Sven Pipe. Completing the lineup are Matt Slocum on keyboards and Joe Magistro on drums. The Magpie Salute are coming to Razzmatazz to present their debut album High Water I.
As with The Black Crowes, hard rock and blues rock, together with southern rock, are the band’s dominant genres. The concert will begin at 8 pm, though the doors will open half an hour earlier.
