The Festival is characterised by their diversity of musical proposals

Way more than just music

The Cruïlla Festival is consolidating its position in the city with four days of music, art and comedy shows.

The Cruïlla Festival is a unique and different proposal for the city, combining music, arts and comedy shows. The event brings together a selection of bands that stand out for their artistic quality, regardless of their place of origin or their style. It has two main goals: to let people enjoy their favourite and established artists and also to discover new proposals.

There will be four Festival stages, with more than thirty-five bands performing from six in the evening until five in the morning from Wednesday 6 July to Saturday 9. Among the big names performing are Rubén Blades, Juan Luis Guerra, Residente, Jack White, Duran Duran, Hot Chip, Editors, Rigoberta Bandini, Zahara and Rozalén. To these headliners, we must add other groups and artists such as Seeed, Fat Freddy's Drop, Joan Dausà, Tanxugueiras, Depedro, Hot Chip, Editors, Meute, Sleaford Mods, etc.

The Cruïlla Festival is a unique experience that goes beyond music. The programme includes artistic disciplines in the so-called Cruïlla Arts, which, this year, includes photography and illustration exhibitions by El Estafador, as well as a tribute to Xavier Mercadé, photojournalist and founder of Enderrock. When it comes to dance, you can't miss the local talent of Brodas Bros.

As a curiosity, this year, you will also be able, thanks to Mobile World Capital Barcelona and Barcelona's holographic laboratory Newtonlab Space, to have your photo taken with your favourite artists (with their holograms, at least). The result is very well achieved, and no one will notice the difference.

The event will feature numerous comedians, who will perform on 8 and 9 July on the Vallformosa Stage: from the Catalan talent of Ana Polo and Oye ShermanCharlie Pee or Marc Sarrats, to renowned comedians from the national scene, such as Carolina IglesiasIgnatius Farray or Valeria Ros, and also from the international scene, such as Michelle Wolf and Marnie Manning.

Tickets, with various types of season tickets available, can be purchased from the Festival's website.
