‘Classic and Contemporary Art’

The exhibition 'Classic and Contemporary Art' explores different approaches to contemporary art

The Marlborough Barcelona gallery to exhibit work by its artists to illustrate the diversity of their techniques.

The Marlborough Barcelona art gallery has been open since 2006, but it’s also part of an international firm that has been buying and selling works of art since 1946, when it was founded in London.  'Classic and Contemporary Art' is the third edition of an exhibition that showcases work by the gallery’s roster of artists who, though very different in their approaches and techniques, are all defying the limits of painting and sculpture in contemporary art.

The artists whose work can be seen in this exhibition are Manolo Valdés, Juan Genovés, Juan Correa, Tadanori Yamaguchi, Pablo Armesto, Riera i Aragón, David Rodríguez Caballero, Pablo Genovés, Manuel Franquelo, Hugo Fontela and Joaquín Barón. Their work demonstrates the possibilities for continual innovation in the fields of photography, sculpture, new technologies and painting among other forms of art.

'Classic and contemporary art III' can be seen at Marlborough Barcelona from 28 June to 22 September.

Admission to the exhibition is free. Additional information is available at the following link.
