The three architects who will be the focus of the event

In conversation with the architects Benedetta Tagliabue, Andrés Jaque and Peter Cook

On September 27 the three architects will talk about what lies behind their success at the Auditorium of the Liceu Conservatory.

Three renowned architects with very different trajectories will be the protagonists of Architects, not Architecture at 7pm on 27 September at the Auditorium of the Liceu Conservatory. This initiative by the Elche-born architect Fermín Tribaldos has already taken place on several occasions in Germany and is now beginning its expansion throughout Europe. But what makes it different from other conferences? The fact that the speakers can talk about everything except their work, which means that the approach is much more personal, revealing the man or woman behind the professional, though architecture won't be completely forgotten, since they will also reflect on their influences and experiences.

The Barcelona session will feature Benedetta Tagliabue, co-founder of EMBT, Andrés Jaque, founder of the Office for Political Innovation, and Peter Cook, co-founder of CRAB Studio. The event, for which it is necessary to register beforehand if you want to attend, will take place in the following order: doors open at 6pm and attendees will be officially welcomed an hour later. At 7.15pm, each speaker will have a half-hour intervention, including 20 minutes speaking and a 10-minute interview. At 8.45pm, a 30-minute round table discussion will begin including questions by the public. And finally, attendees will be able to continue conversing with each other and with the people in charge of the event until 11pm.
