The challenge of the students of the Conservatori del Liceu

The ‘Liceu Jove’ cycle is a series of concerts that gives a space to the students of the Fundació Conservatori del Liceu to demonstrate everything they have learned in the classrooms during the course. The musical proposal of the cycle is very attractive and poses a challenge to the students, helping to prepare them to make the leap into the professional world. The next concert is scheduled for March 17 with a selection of the most outstanding students from the Piano Department. The concert, called ‘Pianíssim’, will be repeated with different pianists throughout the cycle, on April 14 and May 19. Another of the outstanding concerts will be on April 22 with the Gran Ensemble Liceu, which will dedicate a tribute to Jordi Bonell, guitarist and professor at the Conservatori.

On the other hand, you can also listen to the Orchestra and Chamber Choir Conservatori Liceu, that will perform the Ave Maria by Brahms, Psalms op. 39 by Mendelssohn, 3 Psalms and Symphony in G minor op.6 n.6 by Bach. You can enjoy the concert on two occasions: March 18 and April 29. Finally, on April 17, ‘Escenas Líricas’ will take place, a space where you can meet the new lyric talents that are being formed at the centre and who will offer you fragments of operas, zarzuelas and the classical repertoire of belcanto.
