The Docs del Mes brings you ‘Oeconomia’, a creative and humorous journey by Carmen Losmann where economists and bankers try to explain the game of capitalism.
Our economic system has made itself invisible and eludes understanding. Everyone has a bit of a feeling that something isn’t working, but what, exactly? DocsBarcelona is trying to solve the question with the new Docs del Mes of April by Carmen Losmann. The documentary is Oeconomia, a creative and humorous journey where various economists and bankers try to explain capitalism and where Losmann reveals to us the rules of the game and how these systematically increase the deficit and concentration of wealth. Finally, the author also wants to reflect on the “health” of capitalism and wonders if it’s nearing its end.
