Soundtrack classics

On February 26 at the Palau de la Música you can enjoy ‘The Music of Ennio Morricone and John Williams’.

For a Few Dollars More, Once Upon a Time in America, Harry Potter or Indiana Jones. Everyone knows the music of these classics of contemporary cinema. And no one escapes the fact that Ennio Morricone and John Williams are responsible for them. The Palau de la Música Catalana offers you a cinematic evening with the main themes of these films that have made history: on February 26, you will have the opportunity to listen to the Royal Film Concert Orchestra conducted by Fernando Furones, veterans of this musical genre. Other unforgettable songs like Memoirs of a Geisha, The Mission, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Superman, The Untouchables, E.T., The Schindler's List or Hook.

This concert pays tribute to Ennio Morricone, a composer who passed away last July 2020 and who went on to create more than half a thousand works for cinema. On the other hand, John Williams, author of countless classic pieces of cinema that accumulates 51 Oscar nominations –and a total of 5 awards– and who has still participated in the soundtrack of the latest Indiana Jones film, which is scheduled for 2022.

The concert will take place at 8 pm and tickets are priced between 24 and 65 euros. You can buy them through this link.
