Ferran Adrià and the solidarity food factory

On Sunday the 9th of June, in L’Auditori, the project will present a family culinary production in aid of the Casal dels Infants

Ferran Adrià has joined forces with local and foreign chefs to raise funds for the battle against child poverty and, with this objective in mind, will present a production titled Ferran Adrià and the solidarity food factory. The production is a one-and-a-half-hour show that will be presented in L’Auditori on Sunday the 9th and will include Adrià in conjunction with other renowned chefs such as Carles Gaig, Joan Roca, Mey Hofmann and Carme Ruscalleda.

During the production, Adrià and his illustrious cohorts, which also include the actor Cesc Casanovas (the chef’s double in the programme ‘Polònia’), will surprise the audience with the magic of culinary creativity spiced with humorous interjections, a combination that inevitably leads to moments of hilarity. On this occasion, Quim Morales, the presenter of the RAC1 programme ‘La segona hora’, will also be presenting the cast of real and fictional characters who pay visits to the solidarity food factory.

The production will also include a performance by musician Xavi Lozano, a specialist in the construction of musical instruments from everyday objects including foodstuffs and kitchen utensils. Ferran Adrià and the solidarity food factory has been made possible through the collaboration of a number of like-minded businesses and collaborating organisations, and the production hopes to make its contribution, in conjunction with the Casal dels Infants, to the battle against child poverty.
