Ferran Adrià inaugurates a series of conferences under the title ‘Instint’

The series is promoted by Andreu Buenafuente and Albert Om, and offers a novel and entertaining way of sharing ideas

Andreu Buenafuente and Albert Om have initiated a project titled ‘Instint’, a series of conferences in which they will be joined by preeminent figures from the world of knowledge. The monthly conferences will take place in what was formerly the Arteria Paral-lel theatre, now known as BARTS (Barcelona Arts on Stage), with the aim of acquainting the general public with the thoughts and ideas of the current opinion leaders in a way that is both entertaining and dynamic.

The programme begins on March the 25th with well-known media personality Ferran Adrià. The founder of El Bulli will accompany Buenafuente in an effort to propose and discuss the question “Can the human brain improve internet?” Adrià questions the idea that the internet is a provider of useful, trustworthy information that is adapted to our real needs, connecting the concept with his project ‘Bullipèdia’. The project, initiated by Bullitaller, or Bulliworkshop, is an attempt to provide society in general, and the culinary world in particular, with corroborated information about the creative foundation for the culinary experience that is El Bulli. In short, a session concerning the culinary arts, but above all concerning innovation, talent, creativity and how they can best be put to use.

In the coming months other participants in the Instint series will include Teresa Forcades and Risto Mejide.
