Latest Kronos, the festival that plays with art and time

The festival is once again taking place at Arts Santa Mònica, with 10 days of performances, music and workshops.

The Kronos Art BCN festival believes that art has changed, changes and will change the world. This year, like last, the organisers have decided to focus the project on the concept of time, as this has been shown to create great connections between the participating artists. Art is defined by time, as there are three key moments. When we speak of the past, we focus on the artists who have left their mark on history, inspiring today’s creators. The present, however, makes us look around us, to the topics that concern, connect and drive us today. Finally, the future gives us hope as we look to each other as the seeds of what will come. So, over 10 days, you can enjoy artists, performances and activities that invite you to reflect on these concepts. There will be both consolidated artists and those just getting started. Over the course of the festival, in addition to the works on display, there will also be an extensive programme of activities: workshops, presentations, live painting, music, shows, guided tours, film screenings and much more.

Kronos Art BCN will be held from 19 to 29 September, except for Monday 23 September, at various times at Arts Santa Mònica, on the Rambla. We recommend you have a look at the programme to pick out the activities you’re interested in.

All of the festival activities are free and open to the public, until the capacity of the space is reached. More information is available on the Kronos Art BCN website.
