Ohlalà! Festival

The Ohlalà! Festival returns after the confinement

The Ohlalà! Sets a new date, from the 1st to the 8th of October, and will be held in person and virtually.

The 3rd edition of the Ohlalà! Francophone Film Festival keeps promoting French-speaking cinema in Catalonia after being cancelled due to the country's sanitary alarm. The festival now has a new date: it will take place from the 1st to the 8th October and will be held in person at the Institut Français and the Filmoteca de Catalunya, reducing the capacity by 50% to guarantee health and safety measures. The Ohlalà! will open at the Institut Français with the comedy La belle époque (2019), a film written and directed by Nicolas Bedos that evokes nostalgia for the 1970s and which has been nominated 11 times for the César 2019 awards.

The virtual part of the festival will take place at FilmIn, where most of the selected titles will be shown, amongst those, the Official Section and some from the retrospective of the actress Nathalie Baye, the festival's patroness. You will be able to enjoy a large selection of films from French-speaking countries, such as France, Belgium, Canada and Algeria, with titles like 'Kuessipan', 'Ceux qui travaillent' and 'Notre dame', which will close the festival on 8 October. Check the programme to find out where you can see each film.

The price of the tickets is 4 euros for the Filmoteca, 7.15 euros for the Institut Français and 15 euros for FilmIn, including a two-month subscription. Here you will find all the information about the sale of ticket.
