Tangent Festival: rediscover culture

The fourth edition of Tangent will be held during the months of September, October and November due to the current covid situation.

The edition of the Eixample Arts Festival, Tangent 2020 changes the summer nights for the fall afternoons and returns to the civic centres with innovative art proposals adapted to the current security protocols. Sixteen artistic projects focused on different age groups that will take place in the Eixample, of different disciplines: dance, theatre, contemporary circus, music and magic. To be able to comply with sanitary measures, the festival will be held during the months of September, October and November.

Tangent opens on September 16 at the CC Casa Elizalde with the circus show ‘Peix’ by the Hotel Iocandi company. Next, it’s time for the electronic opera composed by Carla Peya, ‘Infanticida’, which will be held at the CC Sagrada Familia. The festival also brings you concerts like Koko-Jean & The Tonics, Marga Mbande or Marala, dance proposals such as ‘Nur’ or ‘Avec le temps’, or theatrical works such as ‘The Postman’ by Txema Muñoz. The festival will close on November 12 with ‘Ritos de amor y guerra’ by the Comando Señoras company, a work in real time with the participation of the audience.
