FI-Content user trials experiencie

Barcelona hosts two technology "clinical trials" to know the strengths and weaknesses of two applications with the help of citizenship

BCN Lab and i2Cat Foundation have organized FI-Content user experience trials where citizens test and detect points of improvement of two new applications.
 

The first test will be on Friday January 16th, in the vicinty of the Fabra i Coats. Participants will test an adapted version of the Smart City Guide application Insitute German Fraunhofer FOKUS reserarch, they will have to hunt locations, overcoming challenges and earning points with their mobile devices. This test is suspended by rain forecast . The event will convene again in three weeks.
 

The second test will be on January 23rd and will take place in Barcelona metro and tram. This time the participants will play in Barcelona's version of augmented reality game Gnome Trader, a game developed by Disney Research and the Polytechnic University of Zurich. The game is based on buying and selling crops from some fantasy characters that are scattered throughout the city.
 

To participate in these activities you need to be 18 years old and be ready to play and have a good time, you do not need computer skills. Be sure to come with your mobile device with Internet access, with the battery charged and space enough to download the application.
 

Participants may win one of the six awards between 30 and 150 euros to change by Amazon products. The players who earn more points will be he winners.
