Celebrate the 25th anniversary of ‘Friends’ at FriendsFest!
Have a coffee at Central Perk, re-create the opening credits and wander through the characters’ flats in Poble Espanyol.
If you can’t help but clap your hands four times after hearing the phrase “So no one told you life was gonna be this way”, you must be a die-hard Friends fan. It’s been 25 years since Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Joey appeared for the first time on TV. To commemorate this quarter century, Comedy Central has organised its FriendsFest once again, a must-attend event for series fans. In addition to the reproductions of Monica’s flat, the famous sofa from the title sequence (where you can re-create the theme song), Chandler and Joey’s foosball table, and the Las Vegas wedding chapel, visitors can also go into Central Perk and take part in Monica and Rachel’s prom. There will be food from the show, like Joey’s pizzas and Ross’s sandwiches, loads of spots to take selfies and a shop with official merchandise from the sitcom.
You can do all of these FriendsFest activities and more from 24 May to 2 June, Monday to Thursday from 12:30 pm to 9:15 pm and Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 10:15 pm. The festival will take place at Poble Espanyol on Montjuïc.
