The Fundació Mies van der Rohe presents its 2021 activities program

The activities will take place both in person and online to ensure the arrival of more public.

The Fundació Mies van der Rohe is launching its 2021 activities program, a hybrid program with face-to-face proposals in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion and others online on the Fundació’s various websites and networks. You have a lot of possibilities, such as a visit to the gardens and surroundings of the Pavilion, including the landscape of the Parc de Montjuïc, which are open until 8 pm. On March 25, a piece by Félix González-Torres will be presented, called ‘Untitled’ (Loverboy), which accompanies the MACBA's retrospective exhibition, ‘Política de la Relación’, and which will be on display until April 11. A work that gives a new look to the artist’s languages and also creates new readings around the Pavilion. There will also take place a concert by pianist Noelia Rodiles in the Barcelona Obertura and the publication La expresión del peso by Luis Martínez Santa-María this March.

Looking ahead to April, there will be an open day on St. George’s Day, which you can take advantage of for reading in the Pavilion or browse the publications and learn about the large selection of architecture books in their bookstore. There will also be an artistic intervention by students of Elisava’s Master’s degree in Ephemeral Architecture and Temporary Spaces, led by professors Stella Rahola Matutes and Roger Paez. For now, the activities last until June.

The schedule will be updated throughout the year. You can subscribe to the Fundació's newsletter or check the agenda of activities on its website.
