‘Infern’, the dance show by La Taimada

'The Garden of Earthly Delights,' in stage format

La Taimada brings you 'Infern,' a project inspired by the last panel of Bosch's tryptic, which you can see at SAT! Sant Andreu Teatre.

According to La Taimada, today's society is a copy of purgatory, a concept that Dutch painter Bosch represented in his famous triptych, The Garden of Earthly Delights. Hell is the title of the last panel of Bosch's triptych, but also the name of La Taimada's project. Olga Álvarez and Jordi Cabestany will be directing this stage proposal, which is landing at the SAT! Sant Andreu Teatre on May 21st and 22nd. Several interpreters have worked on the creation of the project, which is part of the trilogy named The Garden, inspired by Bosch's work.

Infern wants to depict our current life, a society that has condemned us all to live alone with our most intimate desires, a society that hypersexualizes us all over the media, but that is likewise filled with taboos and complexes. In this project, La Taimada owns these unsatisfied desires and impulses and, like a mirror, reflects them to us.

The show will take place at 8.00 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Tickets are EUR 15.50 and can be booked at the SAT!'s website.
