A guided tour of the hills with views of Barcelona

The Tres Turons route is organised by the city’s History Museum and will take place on the afternoon of the 24th of August

If you’d like to enjoy some spectacular views of Barcelona and, at the same time, get to know more about the city’s expansion to the hills around it, you should join this guided tour organised by the Barcelona History Museum (MUHBA) for the afternoon of Wednesday 24 August. The tour will set out from the Turó de la Rovira, where there is an antiaircraft battery and the remains of the slum neighbourhood that was once known as Els Canons. The route then passes by the mines of La Muntanya Pelada and crosses the upper part of Park Güell. The route then enters the Jardins de la font de Sant Salvador d'Horta and the Escola Farigola, before ending at the Vallcarca bridge. A halt is also scheduled at the restaurant Las Delicias.

The tour is scheduled to begin at 6.30pm and will take around two hours. Participants are recommended to wear comfortable footwear and to book early in order to guarantee a place.
