The Pedro i Pons Estate

Exploring the beauty of the Pedro i Pons Estate

The building, which belongs to the University of Barcelona, offers unmatched views of Barcelona.

Education at the University of Barcelona does not stop at the classroom and the UB organizes frequent tours to buildings and spaces that makes up part of its patrimony. A case in point is the Pedro i Pons Estate, a 16th century construction that is located in the Peu de Funicular district and offers magnificent views of the city. One of its most attractive features is its façade with its 18th century sgraffito, together with beautiful gardens and a farmhouse containing period artworks and furniture. The farm was donated to the University of Barcelona by Dr. Agustí Pedro i Pons, which created a foundation in his name to promote research projects in different fields of science.

The visits, which last for an hour and a half, will take place on one Thursdays per month, on 11 April, 16 May, 20 June and 4 July.

Participation is free and you can book your place by calling 934 020 202 or by email at gaip@ub.edu.
