Celtic music and dance at La Pedrera

Experience Irish music and dance with all of your senses at La Pedrera

Drónán and the Nuala Irish Dancers feature in an evening with an Irish theme.

As well as being one of Barcelona’s major tourist attractions, La Pedrera is also a venue for activities designed to please residents and visitors alike. An example of that are the concerts held there in a variety of styles including pop, jazz and classical music. This time around, the evening they have organised has a decidedly Irish slant. At the Celtic Concert with a Tactile Session, the Catalan band Drónán will begin the evening with their take on traditional Celtic music featuring bagpipes (uilleann pipes), bodhrán, flute and keyboards. The event will also see traditional Irish dancing by the Nuala Irish Dancers.

The concert will take place in the auditorium at La Pedrera at 7.30pm on 19 October and attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy a hand-on experience with the instruments used while conversing with the musicians about the music they have played.
