Isaac Ulam and José Domingo present their latest recording

The live premiere of Temple d'aigua i llum (Temple of water and light) will take place in the Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius on Thursday the 14th

After the success of Murtra, which was released last year, Isaac Ulam, the Blanes-born singer-songwriter, is back with another recording. He is not alone on this occasion, however, but joined by José Domingo, and while the two are old friends who have reunited in order to compose a series of songs, this does not mean their music is in any way complacent, in fact, the resulting inquietude is both surprising and seductive.

The new material, which was released on the 5th of March on the Bankrobber label, is intended as an approach to traditional songwriting, or popular songs, and the material is varied and includes habaneras, jotas, fishermen’s’ songs and songs to be sung while tilling the soil, etc.

Temple d’aigua i llum, as the record is titled, begins its presentation tour in Barcelona on the 14th of March in the Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius, the venue chosen for the presentation by this partnership of Ulam and Domingo, a partnership that promises further offerings in the near future.
