Jacqueline at the Picasso Museum

A selection of photographs reveals a little-known side of Jacqueline as a privileged chronicler of Picasso and his surroundings.

The Museu Picasso pays tribute to Jacqueline Picasso (known as Jacqueline Roque before her marriage to Picasso in 1961), thirty years after her death. Here Picasso’s muse and model is the protagonist in her own right: the art and documents exhibited give us a glimpse of her as both a patron and a photographer. These galleries, which for the last three years have housed the collection of ceramics she donated, offer the ideal space for this tribute.

If you like art, you cannot let this opportunity slip away. The works donated, the photographs she took during the years she shared with Picasso and documents, including letters and personal notes, reveal Jacqueline through her generous personality, her eyes and his voice. The exhibition will run from 9th June to 4th September.
