L’Auditori receives the best big band in the world: Maria Schneider Orchestra

The jazz composer and director offers her usual visit to the International Jazz Festival of Barcelona on Thursday, November 12

The arranger, composer and big band director from Minnesota returns to our city with its overwhelming orchestra to demonstrate to the public of L'Auditori that her orchestra is the best big band on the planet.

For her concert ment at the Pau Casals hall, during the 47 Festival Internacional de Jazz de BarcelonaBerlin Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra will highlight the notes of contemporary jazz that unfolds The Thompson Fields, their first album after a gap of eight years, in a repertoire that blends classical music sounds in the voice of the soprano Dawn Upshaw.
