Martín Caparrós

Literary conversations at CASA SEAT

The ‘Literary Cafés’ series began in February, with interviews with authors such as Martín Caparrós and Mónica Ojeda.

CASA SEAT wants to bring literature closer to the public and does so through conversations with great authors of Spanish and Latin American literature. Last February they started the cycle ‘Literary Cafés’, organised in collaboration with Master’s in Literary Creation of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra-Barcelona School of Management, with a conversation between Jordi Carrión, presenter of the cycle, and Mathias Enard, who you will be able to see again on March 19. The cycle will continue on March 10 with the Argentine Martín Caparrós, author of books such as El tercor cuerpo, Los Living and the most recent, Sinfín.

Each meeting consists of a dialogue between the guest and Carrión to talk, mainly, about the relationship between literature and mobility framed in the transformations of cities. In April, you can listen to the conversations with Andrés Neuman (Apr 15), Antonio Muñoz Molina (Apr 21) and Juan Pablo Villalobos (Apr 29). The cycle will end in May with Mónica Ojeda (May 6) and Alicia Kopf (May 20).

Admission to these events is free and you must make your reservation via the link on each one, available a few days before the date. You can also watch it on streaming through SEAT España’s YouTube channel.
