Macaco, in the BARTS

The concert on the 30th of May is the final one in the current edition of the Mil·lenni Festival

Macaco, the project led by Daniel “Mono Loco” Carbonell, arrives at BARTS as part of the Mil·lenni Festival. The concert is the perfect occasion to savour the songs from El murmullo del fuego, the latest album from the band, which was released towards the end of 2012. Carbonell and his accomplices, however, will also be performing other pieces from their extensive song book, which dates back to 1997 and spans more than half a dozen albums.

For over 30 weeks, El murmullo del fuego has remained at the top of the best sellers list in Spain, going gold after entering the charts directly at No4 and reaching No1 on iTunes on the day of release. The latest single from the album, “Brindo por ti”, is accompanied by a video clip that is based on the theories for attaining happiness proposed by the informative scientist Eduard Punset.

This is the final concert in the current edition of the Mil·lenni Festival, a series of concerts covering a range of styles which will be returning with the fifteenth edition next autumn.
