Magic Nights at Casa Batlló
Peter Gynt & The Suites and Luna Llena close the cycle of outdoor concerts on the rooftop of the Casa Batllo, a building which is an iconic example of catalan modernism.
After a month of July full of music, August will be nothing short of that. The Magic Nights continue, a cycle of outdoor concerts with a totally unique setting: the roof of Casa Batlló, in the heart of Paseo de Gracia. From Wednesday to Sunday, everyday will be filled with wonderful music; Peter Gynt & The Suites, a funk music project by Pere Martí Farré, and Luna Llena, a duo of talented guitarists perform Renaissance classics as well as flamenco. These are the concerts that will close the cycle last weekend of August.
During the entire month of August, you can come and enjoy blues, soul, jazz, swing, folk… take your pick. Performances by Carmen Porcar, Gigi McFarlane or the the vibrant sound of Gisele Novais are some of the live shows that you can come and enjoy at Casa Batlló. Performing as well is, La Mar de Rumba, Lexter, Marga Mbande, Monica Guech and Summer Lovers. Make sure to check the concert scheduling and programming for the month, since all of the artists play multiple shows and there are two sessions every day, one at 7pm and one at 9pm. The visit included in the ticket begins an hour before the concert.
Tickets are priced between 29 and 39 euros. You can buy your tickets online once you have selected the date and time you would like.
