Limited edition of the Manga Barcelona
The 26th edition has been postponed until 2021 and this year only online activities will take place.
Once again, Covid-19 has forced the organization of Manga Barcelona to postpone the 26th edition until 2021. However, and in order to continue sharing the passion for manga, anime and Japanese culture, this time they have decided to offer the Manga Barcelona Limited Edition, a series of exclusive online activities that can be enjoyed during the weekend of the event, which will be from October 30th to November 1st. There will be some events that can be followed live, while other contents, such as conferences, workshops or even an exhibition, will be available from the first day.
Although the programme is not yet available, we can tell you that Manga Barcelona will have, as always, talks, editorial presentations, round tables with Spanish authors and the already well-known Barcelona 2020 Manga Awards to the best manga and anime works published in Spain during the last season. As a novelty, its usual collaboration with the Japanese Government's Cultural Affairs Agency this year will take the form of a virtual exhibition, 'Manga, diversity and inclusion', curated by Marc Bernabé.
