Math Experiences
The exhibition, with manipulative and ludic materials, will be in the INS Menéndez y Pelayo until November 11.
From October 3 to November 11, 2013, the Association to promote and create a Math Museum of Catalonia (MMACA) presents the exhibition Maths Experiences at the INS Menéndez y Pelayo (Via Augusta 140-142, Barcelona).
The different modules represent small challenges or show unusual and surprising aspects of mathematics and its application to everyday life. You will find manipulative and ludic materials with different levels of difficulty, which offer opportunities for collaboration and discussion between the visiting public.
The exhibition is designed for students in intermediate and upper elementary or high school, but it is of interest to a wide audience and will be open to the general public on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6PM to 8PM and Sundays (October 13 , 20, 27 and November 10) from 10AM to 13PM.
